Am ersten Dezember spielte Frankreichs Institution The Driver aka Manu Le Malin das Abschluss Set bei der fünften ARTE Mix Veranstaltung im Club Trabendo in Paris, welches, wie auch die gesamte Veranstaltung, live auf arte.tv gestreamt wurde. Exklusiv für diese Nacht hat Manu seine Plattenkiste nach rein französischen Produktionen sortiert. Genießt noch einmal das komplette Set vom Lone Warrior!

Vive la France! On the first of December France’s institution The Driver aka Manu Le Malin played the final set at the fifth ARTE Mix event at Club Trabendo in Paris, which, like the whole event, was streamed live on arte.tv. Exclusively for this night, Manu sorted his record case with French productions only. Rejoice again the complete set of the Lone Warrior!

Zum inzwischen vierten mal beschert uns Talla 2XLC zu Weihnachten sein “We love Techno Club” Festival in Sven Väths ehemaligen Cocoon Club, dem heutigen Moon 13. Am 26.12.2017 ab 22 Uhr, wird auf 4 Floors so einiges geboten. Besonderes Augenmerk richten wir dabei auf Floor 3, dem “Techno 90’s” Floor, der neben so illustren Namen wie “CJ Bolland (R&S)”, “Oliver Lieb aka Spicelab (Harthouse)”, “Franky Jones (Bonzai)” und “Andy Düx (Now!)”, auch Frankfurts verlorenen Sohn Marc Acardipane als “The Mover (PCP)” für einen Abend beheimaten wird. Wer sich also nach Weihnachtsschmaus und besinnlichem familienchillen wundgesessen hat, kann sich hier dezent die weihnachtliche Schwerfälligkeit weggrooven.

Kürzlich haben wir im Blog von Statenhal aus Den Haag diesen feinen Mix von DJ Da Virus entdeckt. Eine Zusammenstellung von Chicago Warehouse Sound, belgischem Rave Techno, UK Breakbeat, niederländischem Early Hardcore und einer gesalzenen Prise Frankfurter PCP Sound: dieser Mix huldigt dem Parkzicht, dem wegweisenden Club aus Rotterdam, ohne den es die Szene, wie sie heute in den Niederlanden existiert, wohl nicht geben würde.
Dieses zweieinhalb-stündige akustische Geschichtsbuch, das sich jeder ernsthaft musikinteressierte Eternalist anhören sollte, schickt Dich auf eine musikalische Reise und garantiert definitiv so manchen „Aha“ Moment!

Recently we discovered this fine mix of DJ Da Virus in the blog of Statenhal from The Hague. A compilation of Chicago Warehouse Sound, Belgian Rave Techno, UK Breakbeat, Dutch Early Hardcore and coupled with a dash of Frankfurt PCP Sound: this mix pays tribute to the Parkzicht, the groundbreaking club from Rotterdam, without the Netherlands scene of today probably would not exist. This two and a half hour acoustic history book, which should be listened to by any serious music interested Eternalist, sends you on a musical journey and definitely guarantees some “Ah” moments!
